Lloyd Cole (natural January 31, 1961) is an English singer and songwriter, known for his role as lead singer of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions from 1984 to 1989 and for his subsequent solo work.

Since 1990 he has released numerous solo albums, & has collaborated by having New York band The Negatives.

Within 2004, to mark the Twentieth day of remembrance of the release of their critically-acclaimed debut album, Rattler, Lloyd Cole & the Commotions reformed to perform a 1-off, sell-out tour in the UK and Ireland.

Cole is presently working inside a second solo album & is swimming two or three accoustic sets through England in November, 2005.
